WARS, DEATH, NO HOPE

What a World we are living in
fighting, killing a major sin
who cares who lives or dies
not our leaders thats no surprise.

Bombings Gassing, guns that roar
kids diving on the nearest floor
women cowering in bomb blasted shells
the sound of screams the bloody smells.

When will it end? when man is dead?
will we never be happy when all is said
what is worth living for in this age?
not death or killing or violent rage.

No one is safe anywhere in this World
terrorism rife, evil unfurled
going about your business, trying to care
taking that extra step love is rare,

More and more camps filled each day
gone are thier identity, their homes, thier way,
a once peaceful life shattered and gone
now they have nothing to frown apon.

Will this World ever be without strife?
nothing is sacred, not even life
will our kids be left anything were they can succeed
before its destroyed at an uncanny speed.

EXPRESSIONLESS

You search till there isn't any places
look around at expressionless faces
look to man to his own disgraces
naked women , covered in laces.

Children s laughter fills the air
when your older, nothing is fair
keeping youthful without even a tear
trying out your past, toiling to bear.

Knock at the door and you will find
people who are meek, loving, and kind
no enemy to beat, dazzle, or blind
no hands bleeding, no need to bind

The heart captures love, passion, truth
the body alive, encapsulated, aloof
there isn't a lie,you don't need proof
or a fairy to take away a tooth

A feeling of strength, nowhere to hide
forget the pitiful, embrace your pride
follow the stream ,to the ultimate tide
fly high through the clouds, silently glide

Trust your fellow man, conquer all fear
dodge the bullet,or an aimed spear
keep it under control, hold whats dear
every man has feelings, and will shed a tear

Promises kept, promises lost
fearful shadows counting the cost
feeling the ice, but avoiding the frost
shattered rocks,covered in moss.

DAILY POEM "SUNNY SUMMERY DAYS"

The sun makes you smile
makes you feel good
it feeds us energy
gives plants their food.

We sit there for hours
trying to get some tan
eating ice cream
from the ice cream van.

Slowly but surely
we turn bright red
setting up barbecues
waiting to be fed.

The kids are screaming
chasing each other
we even find peace
between sister and brother.

Carefully we protect our body
with lashings of sun lotion
the rays soak it in
with surprising devotion.

Red noses prominent
when the night falls
red raw bodies
live yogurt calls.

Be careful of the sun
it can cause you to become ill
the consequences of burning
to swallow the bitter pill.

Take it in small doses
and you will be fine
go into the shade sometimes
don't cross the line.

It is there to enjoy
we do not get enough
the weather in this country
can be wild and rough.

The sun makes us happy
it gets you outdoors
its a change from the rain
when it comes and pours.

We have witnessed a good spell in the UK for a change, the sun has been out, and hot, but remember to make sure you protect your body, as you do not realise how much rays you actually receive, and what damage it can do. enjoy responsibly like all the fine things in life.

" THE IRON LADY SAYS GOODBYE"

She was loved and loathed by millions
her policies were sometimes hard
the first British female Prime Minister
holding the highest card.

At the beginning she was in a “mans world”
determined by her peers
but this lady wasn't going anywhere
living her hope and fears.

As hard faced as she sometimes was
she would never be one to back down
she wanted Britain to be great again
and took everyone to Town.

Her policies were fierce
she ruined many hopes
her determination was concrete
had many against the ropes.

Industry was finished
privatisation paved the way
unions were destroyed
no one had a say!

She went to war with Argentina
for an island Britain owned
fearless of the consequences
the World never moaned.

Some called her the iron lady
she never backed away from a fight
liaisons with super powers
and aware of the cold war plight.

Admired by presidents
in a mixed up world of pain
she never made a “u turn”
some said she was insane.

Miners were destroyed
their living taken away
everyone was powerless
back in the awful day.

She made the rich richer
the poor once again drained
she was known as “thatcher the milk snatcher”
who couldn’t be refrained.

Margaret Thatcher the "iron lady" passed away today, love her or hate her I am sure we will all agree she was one of the toughest Prime Ministers of our time, R.I.P Maggie maybe you will still have your say upstairs.

"YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW"

Kiss the girls
make them cry
tell the truth
never lie.

Offer your heart
bare your soul
make life a winner
achieve your goal.

Live for the day
when all will be well
a loving World
who can tell?

End all hate
and bigotry
unite as one
harmoniously.

Care about children
watch them grow
take care of others
you reap what you sow!

Worry about our climate
don't leave it to chance
look after our Earth
make it grow and enhance.

Respect your elders
nurture the good
remember the starving
dying for food!

Share the wealth
end poverty
you will see a difference
to you and me.

Live for a better World and be part of the success.

DAILY POEM "THE CRASH"

The journey was long
miles of tedium
the music was dull
the speaker on medium.

The driver was young
itching to speed
his brain saying “go for it”
suppressing the need.

His passengers were asleep
he had no one to talk to
the time passed slowly
tiredness coming through.

When will this end
Motorway distress
trying to keep alert
mind in a mess.

Suddenly out of the blue
a car comes behind
flashing his lights
out of his mind.

He then takes over
on a single lane
splashing the screen
with the pouring rain.

The driver gets angry
he then speeds up
one passenger awakes
like a sleepy pup.

He tries to take over
on the single lane
but an oncoming lorry
comes like a speeding train.

The driver swerves
but its too late
he hits the lorry
and meets his fate.

Two have died
two seriously ill
the cost of foolishness
the bitter pill.

Too many drivers these days love to race, they goad each other until one or the other reacts, the ending is never good, be a careful driver and mind your speed, never let anyone else dictate how YOU drive it can be fatal.

THE EARLY SIGNS OF SPRING.

Nights are getting lighter
buds forming on trees
daffodils with yellow heads
recovering from the freeze.

The sun pokes its head
without a tinge of heat
winter still taking hold
wiping its feet.

There is some hope
as nature comes alive
fighting the cold
trying to survive.

Squirrels gathering nuts
their breath mists the sky
jumping from tree to tree
as if they can fly.

Spring will soon be here
faces will show a smile
no more fierce cold
at least for a while.

Nature will come alive
the sun will show its rays
no more freezing cold
or long dark days.

At last the early sign of Spring has began to develop it has been a long long winter, we all need to warmth of Spring...

DAILY POEM " LEST WE NEVER FORGET"

The scene is set
humanity dies
screaming babies
covered in flies.

Treated like animals
because of their race
blackened bodies
A human disgrace.

Old and young
huddled in groups
soldiers yelling
passing the soups.

Some are shot
their pain at an end
Fatherless children
unable to fend.

lead to rooms
made out of wood
the rich, the poor
the bad the good.

No one cares
if they live or die
fear ridden faces
reach for the sky.

Black smoke rises
from human remains
hundreds of people
taking the reigns.

Orders are clear
no one must survive
every Father and son
cannot be alive.

After the Holocaust
no one to reflect
just smoke from a fire
no one to detect.

Millions of people
lined up outside
they know they're fate
nowhere to hide.

We must never forget
this horror from the past
this was no movie
with thousands of a cast.

Yesterday was Holocaust Day,this poem is to remind everyone of the Horrors witnessed by the Jewish people from the evil Nazi's in WW2.

HAPPY NEW YEAR (2013)

Happy new Year
to one and all
hope 2013 will be YOUR Year
and you have a ball.

We all had issues
in 2012
so lets move forward
and try to shelve.

The heartaches, the pain
the poverty, the loss
the mean , the greedy
the amorous boss.

The feeling of loneliness
the love life you lost
the pain of disease
and what it cost.

Struggling to survive
scrimp and scrape each day
having a voice
with plenty to say.

Family alienated
need them around
the cry of the hungry
in Third World found.

Lets hope this Year
will bring us new hope
the old and the needy
will be able to cope.

The neighbor you love
whom  show them respect
instead of ignoring them
in utter neglect.

The children we raise
will be able to love
to show some compassion
be guided from above!

Lets be positive
a New Year is here
time to be happy
and have no fear.

HAPPY NEW YEAR FOLKS, MAY 2013 BE YOUR YEAR, LETS FORGET THE HEARTACHE OF A YEAR GONE BY, AND MOVE ON WITH POSITIVE ENERGY ,,,
