DAILY POEM "ANOTHER WORLD"

clouds rare
blue sky
the setting serene
birds fly.

trees reaching
magnanimous heights
still they tower
epic sights.

a river so smooth
hardly a ripple
ducklings at the side
sucking mums nipple.

The sun shines down
on a lavish domain
as all the wildlife
flourish without rain.

canoes are still
no wind this day
just warmth and silence
and reeds that sway.

the view is ideal
far from the smoke
as the paddles dig deep
were no one will choke.

As the sun now sets
in this glorious land
its time to ponder
on all that is grand.

The memories are long
nothing will change
this unspoilt beauty
no man can arrange.

such a serene setting, far away from the hum drum of modern life.

DAILY POEM "LIVING ON THE BREADLINE"

These days we worry about
whether we can eat or not
bills are piling up high
little money have we got.

nowadays bills come first
as we try to rob Peter to pay Paul
children are going hungry
even the mighty can sometimes fall.

Governments screw the poor
taxes have to be paid
the rich always get richer
as bread lines are always made.

Hard working families deteriorate
luxuries are very rare
children do not understand
why the table is bare.

As the Years come and go
we wonder will things get better?
prices rise, money is tight
it's a World for the young trend setter.

Jobs are hard to come by
benefits are into reform
but it's always the working class
who suffer by the norm.

What is left for our Children?
when little or no work is around
even for the highly educated
who Years go were sound.

We have to live in hope
be positive every day
you get your say at voting time
then the public get their way.

As we listen to the news these days we all get a little depressed, Companies are laying off employees, the Benefit system is being reformed, and prices do nothing but rise, so what is the future for our kids? it is looking grim.

DAILY POEM " SUFFERING THE PAIN"

Silence in the room
is what you require
your head is spinning
you start to perspire.

Alone in the dark
the pain is immense
nothing is helping
no matter the expense

Feeling sick
you cannot relax
round and round it circles
migraine at its max.

Certian foods you eat
can make it worse
this horror in your body
a satanic curse.

You cannot see anyone
you need to be secluded
the slightest noise
terrifies the alluded.

Eventually the pain
starts to depreciate
you can face the light
from the window grate.

You can cope with pain
but migraines bring you down
you cannot do anything
except you will drown.

Ever experienced the worse pain ever? being a migraine sufferer can be  traumatic.
This poem is dedicated to those people who suffer in silence.

DAILY POEM " SICKENING SLAUGHTER"

How can we sit back and watch
Dolphins being slaughtered each day
getting caught in fishermen s nets
its not the humane way.

Waters have to be explored
for food , we understand
but why pull everything out of the sea
by unpopular demand.

The Japanese Government ignore
the signs of millions of pleas
signatures captured Worldwide
but still  no slaughters ease

Be ashamed of what you do
as people sit back in awe
disgusted with your antics
you cannot see a flaw.

Soon there will be nothing left
you will have raped the seas of life
as the World watches you with passion
your causing  pain and strife.

I hope someday there is justice
and we all sit back in delight
as you slaughter your last Dolphin
and end this bloody plight.

As the World sits back in utter anger, the Japanese people are still insisting on slaughtering thousands of poor Dolphins each day, despite the petitions going to their Ambassador, and the Heads of States, it seems the process is slow or non existent.
This needs to end and NOW, Japan we are all disgusted with you, the sooner this needless sickening slaughter ends, the better, keep signing petitions folks and get your message across, before there is nothing left.

please sign this petition to STOP the needless slaughter of Dolphins by the Japanese People.

DAILY POEM "FRIDAY THE THIRTEENTH"

It's Friday the 13th
what could go wrong?
don't walk under a ladder
suspicions grow long.

Black cats wait, poised in the dark
hoping a human will pass
it may be unlucky, maybe for you
their eyes are as sharp as glass.

The number thirteen
is unlucky for some
thirteen steps to the gallows
and death will come.

Thirteen witches in a coven
ready to cast spells
the brooms are on standby
flying out from the wells.

Thirteen guests at a table
may mean one may die
so cut out a guest
or someone may fry!

If you fear all the legends
be careful on this day
the fears and suspicions
may win all the way.

To all you superstitious people out there, today is not your day, lets hope it doesn't live up to its reputation lol, be careful out there..

DAILY POEM "MYSTERIOUS GIRL"

He met her on the corner
of a street in his Town
a girl of no substance
a face with a frown.

He tried to talk to her
she ignored his every word
he didn't want to give up
looking feeble and absurd.

Day by day he stopped
sometimes just for a glance
going out of his way at times
hoping to meet her ,by chance.

Her very being enthralled him
he never wanted anything more
determined never to give up
to even up the score.

But still she denied him
she wanted to be left in peace
the mystery around her deepend
a jigsaw completed with a remaining piece.

One day he walked right by her
tried staring into space
her eyes were like caverns
deep black with no disgrace

The day had finally arrived
she vanished without a trace
could she have been in his imagination?
this girl without a face.

Does this happen? probably yes.

DAILY POEM "ANOTHER YEAR GONE BY"

Christmas paper recycled
Turkey all but done
kids have had an amazing time
having lots of fun.

Still suffering from a hangover
makes you ill to look at wine
another couple of days ahead
and you will no doubt feel fine.

As we all count the cost
with credit cards all max'd out
wondering how we pay for it
in the months that come about.

Back to work once again
never feeling you were away
all is back to normal
wishing the holidays could stay.

We all hope this year will be different
and peace will find a way
unrest and civil riots
will hopefully go away.

As we make our resolutions
we know we will never keep
Its all the fun of a new Year
which aids  a peaceful sleep.

Happy new Year one and all
may all your dreams come true
even in an uncertain World
and only for the chosen few.

Happy New Year everyone, as we approach a New Year, we all hope this one will be better than the last, it all depends on US.
