DAILY POEM "AUTUMN LEAVES"

The leaves turn brown
on the large oak tree
its time to rest
your time to be free.

The winds pick up
shrubs start to die
flowers are wilted
the bees don't fly.

Temperatures fall
it's dark once more
the sun isn't warm
like months before.

The grass turns yellow
growing no more
winter clothes aired
boots on the floor.

Settling in at home
on the cold dark nights
fire burns warmly
glowing red light.

Autumn is here
it comes around fast
but like all of the seasons
we know it won't last.

Autumn is well and truly here, beautiful imagery sets the scene, trees leaves turning bright orange or brown, falling on roads and pavements, covering them like a sheet, its a beautiful sight to behold.

Do you like Autumn? whats your favourite season?
