Demetrius hugged his mother tight
It had been a long, long time
The last time he had saw her
She was just past her prime.

She had been a hard working woman
All her natural life
From when she was a younger girl
To becoming a loving wife.

Demetrius was her favourite
This had always been so
She missed her son terribly
She never saw him grow.

Now towering over her by two feet
She looked up to him
But tall or not she wasn't scared
To say he needed a trim.

Lily stood all pensive
As Julia greeted chalky
And then she asked were Lucky was
The old dog that was always cocky.

Finally she turned to Lily
Looked her up and down
This made Lily feel uneasy
By now this made her frown.
