DAILY POEM "TRAGEDY AMONGST SISTERS" GUESS THE MOVIE 10

She was successful
her sister was not
she worked hard
but was soon forgot.

A movie queen
loved by her fans
a true genius
like golden sands.

But an accident happened
which made her an invalid
she was motionless
but alive God forbid.

Her sister was jealous of her
she wanted to be a star
however she wasn't good enough
her acting was better by far.

They lived together for many years
grudgingly she looked after her kin
but deep down she wanted her dead
even knowing this was a sin.

The jealous sister often dressed
childishly reliving her day
acting her fantasy almost daily
lines she never could say.

The song she sang was almost sad
her only audience was herself
a poor old lady masked with fame
always being left on the shelf.

At times she wanted to kill her sis
because she was arrogant and demanding
she was always left to look after her
knowing her sis was outstanding.

Sadly in the end the sister was caught
having murdered the maid in cold blood
wheeling her sister starved and dying
caked in dirt and mud.

Guess the movie time again folks, this is a classic, I loved these actresses and the film will always remain a classic to me, as usual, the winner will be announced at the end of the night, go on have a go, I think this one is the easiest yet :)

  14. Good Evening, William:

You shall offer a list so that at least we can choose one from available list, how to choose if I have no clue, I can google the names provided and make a decision on what you have written, then that would be more fun for all of us, meanwhile I can learn from U.

    Your poem is remarkable,
I have No clue of the movie.
If it is a British movie, then you must offer some clues.
    thanks!

  15. how sad the ending is,
    in life,
    yes, sibling rivalry is common,
    but murdering is too serious,
    awesome reflections via a poem,
    beautiful job!
