DAILY POEM "RAINDROPS THE ONLY SOUND"

The only thing I hear
is raindrops on the glass
the forefront in my mind
is the pain which I amass.
Deep as it cuts, it never mend
it casts more doubt in my heart
solitude is a thing I could never face
so much as we now part.
I close my eyes and you appear
in the corner of my mind
The days are nights the nights are day
lonliness fills me with pain
and still silence fills the air
with raindrops the only sound.
when I reach out for you in the night
emptiness is all I find.
Be happy in your new life
where sunshine fills your day
text me when I'm alone
make my sunny day gray.
Desperation fills my body
as I kneel upon the ground
whilst silence fills the air around
raindrops are the only sound.

A story of lost love, ah when this happens we don't care about anything, we just dredge through our day, nothing seems to matter, it takes forever to get over it, doesn't it?
HAVE YOU EVER BEEN IN LOVE AND IT HAS ENDED, HOW DID YOU FEEL, IM NOT TALKING ABOUT NOW THAT YOU ARE SETTLED WITH LOVING HUSBANDS OR PARTNERS I AM TALKING ABOUT WHEN YOU WERE YOUNGER :)

  4. excellent question,
yesterday, Doraz commented that it is not nice to tell one's age, referring to my post how old is William, thus I am not going to answer this question!
    thank you for the fun!

  8. I soon learned about the realities of life and handled things accordingly. I think growing up on ranches helped. Life is different when you live on a farm and have life situations everyday. :) Good poem William.

  9. My first love was amazing. He just rocked and I loved him so much. He made me smile and laugh and then he broke my heart. I thought about him forever and it was hard but it was a great love story while it lasted..

  12. We all go through it dont we? And only blessed people end up with the "love of their lives", so....

I always take pain by its horns :) but broken heart is worst of them all.

  13. when love is lost, we feel like we are always drenched in rain... or sometimes, we beome too oblivious to our surroundings to even notice the rain... :)

  14. Oh man being young and in love is so great but I remember that and then the feeling of emptiness that comes along with the loss of that love. That feeling of love is one that last with you forever.
