DAILY POEM " A NEW YEAR"

I wonder what this New Year will bring?
will it be heartache, grief, or love?
can it end hostile intentions? let us have peace?
or will the man intervene from above?

What's wrong with expectations? hope and desire
for a planet more greener than it has been
do we not deserve the finer things we all deserve in life?
even if some of our brothers are mean?

Will it end factions trying to kill innocent people
because they are caught up with the times?
bombs and violence in everyday life
will they be caught and punnished for their crimes?

Could we expect unity all over the World?
no matter the culture or race
end the need for troops in countries
taking over the landowners place?

can we stop the greedy getting fatter drowning in wealth?
or is this a World of every man looking out for himself?
can we share the Earths natural resources make everyone the same?
and concentrate on Humanity promote good Health?

Do we shake the hand we would rather not or go on hating them?
kill everything in sight that moves on land or sea?
these questions are like many I would like answered now
but tragically everything in life is not as it should be!!

Lets hope 2010 brings some success were other Years have not, bring peace, bring all the soldiers home from foriegn climes, end starvation, greed, death.
lets have a Happy New Year not just in name but in REALITY...
